Of course its okay!
Long distance relationships are hard, but don’t let anyone tell you that their impossible or any less of a relationship. I was with my ex for three years and we felt very strongly for each other. We met when we were very young. Our life circumstances and decisions, as they do with everyone, shaped us and helped us grow as people. Some times this helps couples grow together, and sometimes it makes them grow apart. Me and morgan grew in two very separate directions as people. I still care for him immensely as a friend and person. Too much happened between us for our relationship to be successful. We both found different people and are moving on with our lives. I’m moving to California in September and working on my writing career and am so excited about that part of my life. Morgan is working and further improving his life and I’m happy for him. We just couldn’t be together any more, and never will be again. You’re relationship has potential to be successful if you put in the dedication time and effort. Friendly advice? Communicate. Because it is the most important part of ANY relationship. Always be honest and communicate. I wish you and your ldr partner all the luck and happiness in the world!!
the reason more people are coming out these days is because the world is a slightly more welcoming place and more importantly because they have the courage to do so and if you try to dismiss that as jumping on a bandwagon then you’re a piece of dog shit
